TPS supply and fit 3 types of security shutters and grilles:
* External Roller Shutters
* External/Internal Fixed Grilles
* Internal Lattice Grilles
External Roller Shutters
Roller shutters may be used to protect both windows and doorways and can be fixed to an existing building or incorporated into a new building as it is constructed (in which case the top boxes are normally concealed within the structure). Shutters can be raised and lowered individually or all shutters can open and close together when leaving or entering the property. They are particularly suitable where properties may be unoccupied for some time as they also help keep winows and doors clean. They are available in a range of colours to compliment your property.
External/Internal Fixed Grilles
Fixed grilles provide the ultimate in security but are not always considered attractive. They offer the advantages of very robust fixing to the surrounding property and allow windows to be open while still offering protection (bear in mind that objects such as keys can still be accessed from an open window, even though protected by a grille). TPS has its own fabrication shop so we make make grilles to any size or design which can be basic as seen here or more decorative as often seen in Mediterannean properties. Not suitable for doorways
Lattice Grilles
Lattice Grilles are often considered the perfect compromise between external shutters and fixed grilles. Like a fixed grille, windows can be opened to allow ventilation while maintaining security (the same comments about access to small items such as keys applies) but they can be opened when not required which means they are also suitable for doorways. Usually hidden behind curtain when not in use they do no detract from the appearance of a room but offer a visable deterrent when closed.
